2. Our carrier picks up your vehicle
A few hours before your scheduled pick-up time, the enclosed car carrier will contact you. They need to confirm the pick-up location is accessible for large commercial vehicles. If you think it might be a problem, let them know and they can arrange an alternative. You could meet them in a wider street, where you work, or at a parking lot. Both you and the driver have to inspect your vehicle closely before it’s loaded. Record any dings, dents, scratches, or other existing damage on the Bill of Lading. This is a crucial document in the covered car transport process, and you must keep your copy safe. The carrier will then load your vehicle into the enclosed auto transport trailer. 3. Your vehicle is delivered to it's destination
A few hours before the carrier arrives, they’ll get in touch to let you know they’re almost there. It’s also a courtesy call to make sure you’re available. If you’re otherwise engaged, you can nominate a trusted friend, relative, neighbor, or colleague to accept delivery on your behalf. They do, however, have to be at least 18 years of age. Upon delivery of your vehicle, you have the opportunity to check its condition before signing the Bill of Lading.
